In 1993, our founder started his career as an Marine Engineer, learning the relentless demands of the sea and the intricate mechanics of the vessels that traverse it. Those early years, forged in heat, noise, and constant motion, instilled a deep respect for machinery and an unwavering commitment to technical excellence. The journey continued through European waters and across global shipping lanes progressing through the ranks — Third Engineer, Second Engineer, and ultimately, Chief Engineer. Each role added layers of responsibility and expertise, from troubleshooting injector lines under pressure to managing complex propulsion systems on larger, more sophisticated vessels, from the frigid North Atlantic to the humid Suez Canal. This wasn't a job; it was a deep immersion in the operational realities of seafaring. The transition ashore brought new perspectives. As Marine Superintendent and later Fleet Technical Manager, the scope expanded from a engine room to managing the technical health and operational efficiency of entire fleets scattered across the globe. This involved navigating high-stakes challenges: coordinating emergency repairs in remote ports, overseeing critical dry-dockings, managing substantial budgets, contributing to new build projects, and advising on vessel acquisitions. It was during time, managing the complexities and often fragmented nature of maritime support services, that the concept AZM Marine International began to form. Why juggle multiple consultants, brokers, and suppliers when a single integrated partner could provide comprehensive, expert support? Driven by this vision, we initially started as Global Creators Inc. in 2010 and then merged with AZM Marine International FZ-LLC, which was established in Dubai's Meydan Freezone.
